THE AMERICAN CATHEDRAL IN PARIS FOUNDATION

The American Cathedral in Paris Foundation is a US-based non-profit supporting organization under Section 509(a)(3) of the Tax Code (Type 1), founded in 1984. The Foundation supports the unique mission and ministry of The American Cathedral in Paris.

The Foundation receives dollar-denominated gifts from Friends of the American Cathedral in Paris and other supporters of the Cathedral. Gifts provide on-going support of the Cathedral’s annual operating budget or are used to support specific projects, such as the music program, depending on the donor’s wishes. In addition, the Foundation supports efforts to increase the endowment and fundraising efforts of the Cathedral. Support provided by the Foundation also assists in preserving and protecting the rare beauty of this historic landmark, designated a monument historique by the government of France. Donate today ↣

Giving

Gifts to support The American Cathedral in Paris can be made to the Foundation by check, credit card, stock and other securities, and legacy donations. Choosing the best way to give can be complicated. The type of gift that is right for any given donor will depend on many factors. Prospective donors should talk to their own tax advisor or tax attorney before making a decision. The advisor will be able to provide guidance on which type of gift is the most tax effective for a donor’s personal situation. Tax receipts for US taxpayers will be issued, and contributions are deductible to the fullest extent allowed under US law.
